Manage devices on the Site Manager Dashboard page.
Use the Gateway Activity tile to view and manage device access to the wireless network:
- View guest and IT devices currently on the network
- Log out devices from the network when necessary
- Add and remove select devices to the Network Bypass list, enabling them to bypass portal page authentication and log on to the network automatically
- View gateway performance
Access Gateway Activity
Gateway Activity is available on the dashboard in Site Manager. Click the Gateway Activity tile, under Status, to access.
Navigate between the three main pages by clicking the tabs at the top for the following:
- Connected Now: view the connected devices on the network; click a device to log it out or add it to the Network Bypass list
- Network Bypass: view the connected devices that are also on the Network Bypass list; add and remove devices from the Network Bypass list
- Gateway Performance: view detailed information about gateways at the property
Connected Now
Use the Connected Now tab to view and search for currently connected devices, as well as add individual devices to the Network Bypass list.

Filter devices: filter by Status; a device may be Pending, Active, or Bypass
- Search: search by Status, MAC address, IP address, Username, Network, or Port
- Devices table: view detailed information about currently connected devices
Click on an individual device row to open a pop-up with additional options, including the ability to log the device out of the network, add the device to the Network Bypass list, or remove the device from the Network Bypass list. See Add devices to network bypass and Log devices out of the network for specific steps.
Network Bypass
Use the Network Bypass tab to add devices to the Network Bypass list, view currently bypassed devices, and make bulk updates to bypassed devices. Devices on the Network Bypass list do not need to authenticate to access the network.
- Add devices: add a single device or import a CSV file of many devices
- Filter devices: filter by Last Seen or Expiration
- Search: search by MAC Address, Description, Last Seen, Added By, or Expiration
- Bulk updates: make updates to multiple devices on the Network Bypass list, including removing devices in bulk
- Devices table
Click on an individual device row to open a pop-up with additional options, including the ability to update the device info and expiry date or remove the device from the Network Bypass list. See Add devices to network bypass for specific steps.
Gateway Performance
Use the Gateway Performance tab to view information and performance details about the gateways at the property.
- Device dropdown menu: click the dropdown menu to switch between devices
- View Graph: click View Graph on any tile to view the information in closer detail
Add devices to network bypass
You may add a single device or multiple devices to the Network Bypass list. Devices on the Network Bypass list do not need to authenticate to access the network.
To add a single device on the Connected now tab:
- Click a device
Under Add to Network Bypass, select and add for the following:
- Device category: IT Managed Device or Guest Device

Timeframe: 7 days, 30 days, or Permanent Device
- Description: add a description for the device
- Click Add
To add a single device on the Network Bypass tab:
- Click Add a Device
- Add the MAC Address
- Select the Device category, Timeframe, and add a Description
- Click Add Device
To add multiple devices on the Network Bypass tab:
- Click Import Multiple Devices
- Download the template file
- Add multiple devices to the columns in the template file and save the file
- Drag and drop the template file into the upload box
- Click Import
- Map your spreadsheet column headers to the corresponding Network Bypass fields
- Click Map
Renew a bypassed device
To extend the expiry date of a bypassed device:
- Click on the bypassed device
- Under Timeframe, select a new expiry date (7 days, 30 days, or Permanent Device)
- Click Save
Remove devices from network bypass
To remove a device from the Network Bypass list, follow these steps:
- Click on the bypassed device
- Click Remove
Log devices out of the network
To log out a device, click the Log Out button on the device’s row in the Connected Now page. This action disconnects the device from the network and forces it to log in again.
